Isn’t there potential for confusion between the settings adjusted with the headphones and those modified with the detector’s remote control?

No. The headphones are subordinate to the remote control. DEUS’s settings can only be changed via the headphones when the remote control is switched off or absent. As soon as the remote control is switched on, it takes precedence over the headphones, which then resume their function as wireless audio headphones and can only be used to adjust the sound volume.
