Which coil?

Right i have saved all my pocket money and want a new coil. Im stuck between the 11' DD and the Eliptical search coil 24x11cm.
As at the moment im using, the standard 9. It comes down to usage really and what the benefit would be, i know the strengths are for both. But i feel id be missing out if i got one and not the other haha. I need some professional advice.
